 刚 刚发布了新的Web Mail客户端的Beta2版本,包含一个日历功能,可以和Web Suite进行交互,并支持多用户的登录.要参加这次Beta工作的必须有一个普通的AOL账户(AOL,AIM显示名称),Windows 98和Opera都已经被明确表示不支持,Mac OS X在FireFox和Safari下都可以运行.
Changelog: - Signing into Web Suite with a Screen Names with AOL Parental Controls set to a "Kids Only" age category will no longer result in the page not loading properly.
- The Web Suite application will now recognize changing AOL Parental Controls for a Screen Name from a Kids Only setting to an adult setting.
- Linked Screen Names are now implemented
- Interaction with Calendar is now implemented
- Search will now find an email thread if user uses Forwarded or Replied emails to initiate the search by subject.
- Moving large images within the message body will no longer shift the whole window up.
- User is now able to use data picker for a date field to enable away message.
- Clicking Contact and then Mail from Contact Panel while while composing an email will no longer discard current message despite clicking Cancel to the "Do you want to delete the current message?" alert.
- Write window will now automatically pop up (per setting) if it is invoked from the Contact List or People Panel.
- Message body is now preserved if users clicks away on a contact (People panel) and then clicks "Cancel" on a warning message.
- Unchecking the "Use Rich Text / HTML Editing" no longer hides the "attachment" option in write mail window.
- You are now able to send out an email if attaching file after performing a spell check.
- Contacts auto complete no longer breaks if you try to add additional email addresses after you typed in any text in a message body.
- Deleting messages from the Read window will no longer result in them remaining as new in the New mail folder message list.
- Messages in the Draft folder will now open in a new window.
- You will no longer experience an after checking/unchecking To Do's on To Do's Panel.
- User is now able to update Existing Tasks.
- Reminders for ToDo's are now being saved.
- The mail count in the New Mail folder will now change when it is open and a new piece of mail arrives.
- Mail Sent confirmation: Create distribution list now works in Pop up new window.
- The "An email address is required" error message that occurs if creating a new contact without adding an email address now has a "Close" button"
